Food - Modern yet classic: Twohey’s Tavern is now open in Pasadena

A modern addition to a well-known restaurant, Twohey’s Tavern in Pasadena is the much younger sibling of Alhambra’s Twohey’s Diner, which has been in business for over seven decades. The tavern is now open, under the careful eye of Chef Travis Limoge, offering some classic Twohey’s dishes – like fried chicken (amazing by the way), burgers, ham steaks – gorgeously plated and accompanied by the chef’s own sauces.

You’ll see lots of brick and wood in the space, with modern and casual tables for two and four people, some at bar-height. The bar serves delectable hand-crafted cocktails with names like “The Rose Bowl,” “Into the Wild,” and “Bobbing for Apples."

For now, the tavern’s hours are 5 pm to 10 pm during the week, and to 11 pm on the weekend. You can call (626) 449-2337 for reservations, or make them online at Twohey’s Tavern is located at 2835 E. Foothill Blvd., in Pasadena 91107.
