For another five weeks (until Jan. 6), the Los Angeles Zoo will be a holiday wonderland, set aglow with LED lights by the thousands, creating a festive atmosphere. The expansive grounds are bright at night with a disco ball forest, whimsical 3-D animations, “Northern Lights” featuring animal constellations that come to life, and more.

The Twinkle Tunnel, which has been so popular in prior years, has doubled in size and features cascading swirls of light and a spectacular finale. Other favorites like the dynamic holiday tree at the entrance, the animated elephant herd, and the dramatic water show are all reimagined, with stunning new visuals and music.
Santa is again here and you can get your photo taken (for an additional fee, with various photo packages available). The carousel is ready to go, at $3 per ride. On Fridays and Sundays, you can enjoy special entertainment at Treetops Terrace.
