8/17/22 update: This article was first posted in March of 2021. I just found out that the short is available for free on Bitpix.com, so I figured I’d bring it back to life. Some of the original paragraphs have been deleted to avoid confusion.

KAPAEMAHU tells the myth of some healing stones that visitors can still see in Waikiki Beach, Hawaii. I found this information about them, which I highly recommend that you read before watching the short. The film was directed by Hinaleimoana Wong-Kalu, it’s only 8 minutes, 24 seconds long, spoken in Niihau Hawaiian, with English subtitles.

It’s currently available, free of charge, on Bitpix. Just follow the link. And, as if it’s not short enough, below is a trailer. Also, while you are on Bitpix, check out the movies currently screening as part of Hollyshorts Film Festival 2022.
